General
This micro-processor controlled unit senses wether current is
flowing in either of two motors, one being the duty the other
being the standby. If current failure is detected in the
duty motor, the standby takes over and begins a new duty time
period.
Duty Sharing
It incorporates a duty sharing feature but
can be used with or without. Duty sharing ensures equal
allocation of wear and tear to each motor which would otherwise
lie idle. Duty periods of 8 minutes* then 2,4,6,8,10 and
12 hours are user selectable.
*This is in conjunction with a 15 minute run on timer to ensure
automatic duty sharing is maintained.
Diagnostic Program
This is carried out, at switch on, to ensure
both motors are correctly wired and capable of performing duty/standby
operation.
Additional Options
Remote Fault Indication - for remote indication
of motor failure, a control panel or B.M.S may communicate with
the change-over via volt free contacts.
