Single Phase Motors (220/240v)

This range of motor speed controls has been developed to meet the growing demand for the control of fans and centrifugal pumps that form part of a Building Management System (BMS). This units accept d.c voltage signals direct from sensors for proportional control or through D.D.C micro-processor systems, often providing alternative proportional integral (PI) control.

Sensors
The standard input is a 0-1-volt d.c signal. Units to receive inputs such as 4-20mA or 0-20v phase cut can be made to order.

Cooling

General
A dedicated range of automatic fan speed controls utilising a thermistor mounted in a perforated plastic tube sensing air temperature.
A non standard unit is available for sensing two temperature zones and varying fan speed according to temperature differential.
This control type is used for destratification of air for heat economy in high buildings.

Heating

General
Developed to control heat output from fan assisted convector heaters incorporating hot water coils or from small air handling units. The control output is automatically discontinued when sensed temperature necessary to run fan motor at minimum speed drifts 1ºC outside the control proportional band.
