TEMPERATURE SENSED FOR AN EASY FIT

Low cost automatic condenser fan speed controls which sense refrigerant high side temperatures and ensure stable head pressure under varying ambient conditions.

Very easy to retrofit using a unique sensor design and there is not need to break into the refrigerant line  eliminating the danger of refrigerant leakage.

The Sensors

Sensor SM2 - this thermistor is for strapping direct to pipes.  It is supplied with 1 metre of cable, two securing straps, a strip of insulation and sachet of heat sink paste.

Sensor SM3 - this thermistor is mounted in a spring loaded nylon 66 cradle.  The sensor housing ensures maximum thermistor contact on the return bend or liquid line.  Pipe diameter 9.5mm (d inch) or 16mm (e inch).  The sensor is supplied with 1 metre of cable, cradle clip, insulation pad and sachet of heat sink paste.

Sensor TP4.7  - The glass bead thermistor is set in a spring loaded plastic cradle with an ‘O’ ring end fitting.  It is most suited to liquid line mounting and has a fast reaction time.  Its is supplied with 3 metres of cable and 2 securing straps.

This 10 amp rated unit is available with 2 or 3 temperature sensors where multiple refrigerant circuits share the same condenser fans.

In this case, the sensor reading the highest temperature takes priority and dictates the required speed of the condenser fans.

PRESSURE SENSED FOR IMMEDIATE RESPONSE

Immediate sensing of high side refrigerant pressure - the most responsive and accurate way to  achieve stable condensing pressure.

Fragile capillaries are eliminated by quality ceramic pressure sensors which connect, via low voltage cable, directly to the refrigerant line.
